I bought this last year so this is my second season using it. It works really well and the battery really lasts and recharges quickly. I also like that you can adjust the position. I cleaned up overgrown shrubs and weeds quickly. Definitely worth it. The only negative for me, which may just be a me issue, is that it starts to feel really heavy after about 15 minutes. I would definitely recommend it and buy it again anyway but I'm mentioning this in case it's important for someone.

I bought this mainly because I was tired of dragging a ladder around the yard. I trimmed the tops of two tall hedges from the ground and finished much faster than usual. That alone made it worth buying.
The adjustable head is what surprised me most. I could cut the top of the hedge, turn the angle, and then clean up the sides without changing tools. The battery still had charge left when I was done.
It reaches the section above our fence that I could never cut properly before. The blade handled the fresh growth without any trouble and the whole hedge looks much cleaner now. No extension cord and no ladder.

If you're challenged with trimming needs that otherwise require your using ladders, this is the product for you. In our case, we have wisteria that cover 2 trellises, with annual growth reaching upwards of 8 feet and more. I choose this battery powered trimmer because of my experience with some of the other Worx fine tools. The trimmer is nicely made with regard to weight, design, and safety
I do want to address battery power. Out of the box, I used the trimmer for nearly 2 hours and had substantial power to spare (battery has a lighted fuel guage). It came with a 20v, 2 amp hour battery and charger. There are larger amp hour batteries available, but the trade off is added tool weight. I found the provided battery quite adequate, and, in fact, appreciated the break during recharge. Keep in mind, the weight of the trimming tool is mounted on the top of the telescoping pole. Extended, trimming is dooable, but unwieldy and fatiguing. Some sort of shoulder harness would be very helpful, if not necessary.
All considered, this tool is most capable and efficiently keeps the user safely on the ground. Will I keep this tool ... absolutely. I have no difficulty recommending it to most anyone that can handle its top heavy weigh. Ladders can be dangerous, even without trimmers that, in any case, require both hands.
If you have the Worx tools then this is a nice addition to the yard tools. All the batteries will interchange so have just the tool works for me. I went through 3 hedges with no problems. Yes using it with the pole extender is heavy but you will be a lot safer then using a ladder and stretching to reach the hedges.
